CANDLELIGHT COTTAGES is a family oriented resort, especially during the summer season. Children can build sand castles, go swimming in the lake, go fishing (with the supervision of an adult), play ping pong or blongo, and play on the playgrounds. Our swimming area has a shallow area for young children and a raft for swimmers in the deeper area. There is NO LIFEGUARD on duty so parents must supervise their children. Relax on our beach chairs or on the lawn or in our gazebo, all overlooking the lake. Guests can explore the lake in one of our rowboats, canoes, or kayaks, available free of charge, on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like to see more of our 32 mile long lake, you can rent a motor boat at one of the area marinas or take a ride on one of the larger cruise boats.
Our private paved road at CANDLELIGHT COTTAGES is about ½ mile long. Enjoy a leisure walk along the road, through the wooded, undeveloped portion of our property. Come to the recreation hall to play shuffleboard, ping pong, pool and foosball. Shoot some baskets at one of the two basketball hoops on our property. One mile south of CANDLELIGHT COTTAGES, in the town of Bolton Landing, are restaurants, a deli, Laundromat, churches, public tennis courts, a bait & tackle shop, and boat launching facilities – all for your convenience and enjoyment. There are several quaint shops in town selling unique items and souvenirs.
